OUR VISION

A world alive with curious minds, bursting with broad perspectives and inspired by compassionate thinking.

WHAT WE DO

86.jpg

WE CREATE LEARNING PATHWAYS TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE MAKE SENSE OF THE WORLD.

We design global-thinking programmes for schools, helping teachers and young people explore key cultural, social and environmental issues. Our programmes include: a downloadable curriculum | homework projects | CPD | student workshops | interactive talks.

WE WORK WITH SCHOOLS TO IDENTIFY AND TACKLE EMOTIONAL HEALTH CHALLENGES.

We understand the importance of critical thinking, empathy and connection as the first steps towards emotional health. We support schools to help tackle the root causes of disconnection, exploring and capturing school-specific insights and addressing challenges.

WE COLLABORATE WITH CHANGEMAKERS TO CONNECT YOUNG PEOPLE TO NEW GENERATION THINKERS.

We partner with inspiring changemakers from across the world to build community and innovate. Our global network is built on a desire to combine resources to create opportunities for young people and inspire new ways of thinking, supporting schools and young people in the process.

OUR MANIFESTO

It starts by standing alongside the next generation, and recognising the capacity we have as educators to prepare young people with the life skills they need to build a more compassionate world.

Our young people are growing up in uncertain times, navigating previously uncharted territories with complex cultural, environmental & social challenges. The need for new thinking has never been more important.

The next generation will thrive if we help them to understand how deep their potential for compassionate thinking is, and support them in connecting with themselves, their communities and the world around them.

It requires inspiring leadership to push educational norms and adopt progressive learning methods. It takes courage and vision to embrace innovation and break through bureaucracy to do what's right, not what's easy.

ThoughtBox. It’s the knowledge that teaching young people how (not what) to think will create a more compassionate world.

WHAT SCHOOLS ARE SAYING

The ThoughtBox resources have been a real hit with the Secondary phase - particularly years 7 to 11. We use the 30 minute sessions every week and it brings about some excellent discussion points and debates.

We regularly use ThoughtBox resources in our PSHEE lessons and are invariably impressed by the quality of the resources and the thought that goes into the lesson plans.
— Head of Pastoral, Emanuel School, London
The Healthy Classrooms CPD was a great opportunity to discuss, learn and reflect on key areas of PSHE. Rachel has led the training brilliantly, with high quality resources, excellent lesson plans and great supporting material. Thank you!
— Deputy Head, King Edward VI Community College, Totnes
Introducing a weekly ThoughtBox item into our 20 minute Learning Time tutorial slots 2 years ago has helped the Academy to provide a structured approach to SMSC coverage across the whole curriculum. I know that I can walk around the whole building at 10.30 and see tutors and students engaging in fantastic levels of debate about current and important world issues.
— Deputy Head, Tuxford Academy, Nottinghamshire
I like that I can pick and choose the topics and adapt to my needs whilst at the same time it provides me with a great starting point for developing discussions.
— Deputy Headteacher, Shooters Hill Campus, London
I covered a life skills lesson at the last minute today and it was my first time using the ThoughtBox resources. I didn’t want the lesson to end! So thought provoking and so easy to use. You have nailed exactly what teachers need. Keep doing what you’re doing, really impressed!
